On 19 and 20 February 1981, Rory played two unforgettable nights at the Palais des Sports in Paris. These concerts marked Ted McKenna’s final performances with the band. In the months that followed, Rory would then go on to test new drummers, ultimately welcoming Brendan O’Neill, or “Mr Sticks”, into the fold. The band then headed to Germany to record Jinx.
During his time in Paris, Rory stopped by a local radio station to give a short interview. I’m delighted to share the interview below. As always, my thanks to Rob Phaneuf for sending it my way.
